My First Day at School
Help your child walk into school brave and excited.
Turn your child and family into cartoons and create an illustrated, narrated story in about a minute — to tackle an everyday challenge like tantrums, fears, sharing or sleeping alone, or to dream up an adventure together at bedtime.
Free: read library stories and see your child as a cartoon. With Premium you create your own personalized stories every month.

Challenge stories are inspired by social stories and positive parenting: your child sees the hero succeed — no lecturing.
Before anything is created, we tell you which AI provider receives each piece of data and why, and ask for your permission. It is never used to train models.
Your family's data is never sold, and you can delete your account and all your data from the app at any time.
A calm, safe space for your child — no advertising and no distractions.
Upload a photo and NeuroStories turns your child and up to 5 family members — pets included — into illustrated characters, the heroes of their own story. Seeing themselves inside the story changes everything.

When children recognize themselves as the hero, their attention spikes and stays on the story.
Learning through themselves improves how much of the story's lesson they absorb and remember.
Seeing their own family on the pages builds emotional closeness and a desire to read again.
Designed for busy days: about a minute from idea to finished story.
Their name, age and interests — and their family turned into cartoons.
Type the idea, dictate it, or tap "Surprise me". We do the rest.
Get a story illustrated page by page, with narration, music and sound effects.
A challenge for something that's hard, an adventure to imagine and laugh. Either way, your child and family live the story.
For something that's hard: emotions, routines, fears, school, family, sleep… Pick from dozens of situations or write your own.
To imagine and laugh: outer space, under the sea, dinosaurs, a secret mission… or tap "Surprise me" and let the story invent itself.
Your child, parents, siblings, grandparents and even the pet appear as illustrated characters, made from a photo.
Every page gets its own full-screen illustration in an animated-film style.
A warm voice narrates the story, with soft music and optional sound effects. Choose voice only if your child is sensitive to noise.
A short adventure, or a story about sleeping alone, the dark, or winding down before bed.
No time to type? Say the idea out loud and the app writes it down for you.
Ready-to-read stories across 10 topics: emotions, routines, social skills, independence, fears, school and more.
The app, the stories and the narration are in English and Spanish. And you can download every story as a PDF.
From the first day of school to bedtime, every story is created with your child's name and family.

A personalized story is written for one specific child: it uses their name, age and interests, and the people in their life as characters. In NeuroStories, your child and family are also drawn as cartoons from a photo, so they recognize themselves on every page.
When children see themselves as the hero, they pay more attention, remember more of what happens and want to read it again. That's why a personalized story works just as well for something that's hard as for a fun moment together before bed.
Meltdowns when the tablet goes off, fear of the dark, a new baby sibling, sharing toys, the first day of school… These are normal childhood challenges, and stories are one of the gentlest ways to face them: your child watches a character just like them go through the same situation and find a way through.
With "A challenge" you pick a topic — emotions, routines, social skills, independence, sensory, transitions, fears, school, family or sleep — and a specific situation, or describe it in your own words. The story ends by showing the skill in action, without lecturing. If your child is neurodivergent (autism, ADHD) or sensitive to noise, the predictable story and the "Voice only" sound setting make it even more comfortable.
Social stories are short, descriptive narratives that explain a specific situation — going to the dentist, taking turns, starting school — and what to expect in it. Carol Gray developed them in 1991 for autistic children, and today they're used with many other kids because knowing what will happen reduces uncertainty.
NeuroStories' challenge stories build on that idea: clear language, a familiar situation and a hero who succeeds. The difference is that here the hero is your own child, with their family, and the story is ready in about a minute.
Not everything has to be a challenge. With "An adventure", your child is the hero of a fun story: in outer space, under the sea, with dinosaurs, on a secret mission or in an upside-down world. Type the idea, dictate it, or tap "Surprise me" and the whole adventure invents itself.
Every adventure has a real plot — a problem, attempts, a clue and sometimes a final twist — and if your child asks for a favorite movie character, we turn it into an original character for the story.
Bedtime is the perfect moment for a story: a short adventure to dream about, or a story from the "Sleep" topic about staying in bed alone, the dark or nightmares.
Every story comes narrated, with soft music and, if you like, sound effects that follow the story. All sound stays below the voice, and you can slow the narration down for a calmer end to the day.
