Delete your account and data

You can delete your NeuroStories account and all associated data at any time. There are two ways to do it.

1. From the app (immediate)

The fastest way is directly inside the NeuroStories app:

• Delete a child profile:open the child's profile and tap «Delete profile».
• Delete your whole account: go to Profile and tap «Delete my account and data».

For safety, we ask you to confirm and solve a short check to verify you are the parent or legal guardian. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

2. By email

If you cannot access the app, email us from the address linked to your account at neurostoriesmobileapp@gmail.com with the subject «Delete my account». We will process your request and delete all personal data within 30 days.

3. What data is deleted

When you delete your account we permanently erase:

• Your account and sign-in details (name, email).
• Child profiles: name, age, sex, interests and their photos.
• Family member profiles and their photos.
• All generated stories and their images.
• The original photo you uploaded is also deleted automatically once the story avatar is generated.

4. Data we may retain

We may retain limited information where the law requires it (for example, transaction records for tax or accounting obligations), for the legally required period and de-identified whenever possible.

5. Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancelan active Google Play or App Store subscription. To avoid further charges, also cancel it in the relevant store (Google Play → Subscriptions, or Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions).
